Show your buddies with the Ford's and GM'S this feature and they will be not only surprised but jealous that there rides can't do that, puts you one more up on them.

Too bad we can't roll the windows up though, that would be a better feature.

 

So I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Big Horn, remote start, the whole bit, and I can't get this to work. Any thoughts? possible mine doesnt have it, but why would they have something from 09-11 and but not keep it on the 12's?

 

Dude, you must have been bored! This thread was 1 year cold when you commented. How many pages down did you have to go to find it? This gave me a bit of a chuckle.

 

As long as it has the keyless entry, it should work. When you unlock the doors by pressing down on the keyfob, make sure to release the button then immediately press and hold it down for a few seconds. You can't let more than 3 or 4 seconds lapse between when you release the button after unlocking the doors.

I now kno this is kind of a cold thread. Just got my truck couple weeks ago. I always come here to find out neat tricks and ideas. For all those guys talking about manuals I dunno about all but mine came with a litle flyer for an app. So yea my manual is on my iphone. Yet another great idea so much easier to navigate and read with our generations tech savvy people. Traded in my 07 for an 11 and I still love it lol

 

Doesn't work on my 2012 either. I was told this 'feature' was removed on the 2012's... We tried about 4 others on the dealer's lot, none worked, however, the two 2011's they had did.

 

I have a 2012 express with power locks and window and my windows dont roll down with this either.
