i'd stick with 35's, unless you put a leveling kit. it's a personal preference, but I like the look of having a good amount of space b/w fender and wheel. Not a fan of stuffing your wheel well with as much tire will fit. again, just a personal preference, and I'm sure either will look good.

Hey guys! Just got my 2012 Ram on 12/31/14 and I am getting ready to lift it and put some new tires on it! Getting the 4" Superlift and was going to go with a 305/70R17 on a 17x9 with -6mm offset and 4.5 backspacing... my question is will those wheels work??? I dont want to go to 18s because tires get even more expensive and really wanting to keep to my budget. Thanks in advance guys!

You grave digger j/k. Do you have a 4WD or 2WD? 305/70R17 is just under a 34" tire. You should almost be able to fit that on there stock if you have 4WD, if not then that is another stroy. Either way, with a 4" lift you should be able to fit 35"s without an issue. Try either 315/70R17 or just a straight 35/12.5R17.

I was trying not to start a new thread haha. Also, that's awesome! I Already have my wheel and tire combo picked out. Going with 305/70R17 BFG KM2s and MB Wheels TKO. It is 4x4 and hopefully they do fit stock because I'm getting my wheels and tires 2 weeks before my lift due to them being on sale next weekend! Saving $400! If not they'll have to sit in the garage till I lift it haha. Thanks a lot for the help!
