Default Bilstein TRX4 Leveling

So...I jumped on the Mopar bandwagon getting their leveling kit for my 09 TRX4....then when it arrived, realized it doesn't work for TRX4s. I've done a lot more research and it seems as if a new set of Bilstein ride height adjustable shocks will accomplish the same thing. I love the way Bilsteins perform but I'm still not 100% sure that all i need to do is switch those out. Has anyone done this and know if it works?

Here's the Part number and website:

Part: Bilstein BE5-F812-H0

How do you know it wont work on a trx4? That kit seems to be the one that works best for a trx4 from what I have read.

I know of people that have put that kit on there 4th gen. They have had nothing but trouble with it sence. They are taking the shocks out and replacing them.
I am thinking about buying some for the front myself and see if I can raise it a couple more inches then what it is now.

What type of problems are they having?

Putting too big of a leveling kit can cause vibration in 4wd. It's extremely common in '06 and newer Ram 1500 4wd, not all trucks will have this problem tho. Adding a leveling kit to a truck that already has drop bracketry from a suspension lift has far less of a chance for the vibration to occur when compared to a stock truck with a 2.5 inch leveling kit. So technically a 2.5" leveled 4wd with a bad 4wd driveline vibration is more useless then his or my suspension set up.

I have been reading other forums in which the members talk to both Dodge and Superlift (who makes the mopar lift) and they both said it will not work for the TRX4. It fits apparently but will cause premature wear of ball joints, etc. because the TRX4 front strut is 1" longer or something???

Basically, with the negative posts that are out there, i'm not going to try it on my truck. I just want to know if anyone has used the Bilstein system and likes it.
