Had mine done a while back. They were in stock then. The complaint is the studs break and a ticking noise on cold start to start with and then louder as time goes on. T.KIZZLE that noise your talking about might be in muffler or converters.Friend of mine his Hemi 4x4 did it and it got worked on in two different dealers and never got fixed. He traded truck for a diesel before taking it back for more figuring out.

Had to wait about a month and a half till they came in and another 3 weeks before I had time to bring the truck in so they could be replaced.

The dealer did call me when they came in and service took about 2 hours to replace them.

You should get them done, even if you are not leaking. It is my understanding the issue is the bolt breaks, which is when you would hear the leak. If it breaks you went from an hour RRT to a whole day.

Not all trucks need the studs replaced. Best to check with your service dept to see if your's is on the list. My 09 was not.

Just have them run your VIN to see the open RRTs. Either you need the studs or you don't. It will be on the list if you do.

My service adviser told me that they are getting in one or two bolts per week. Luckily, my truck isn't on the list.
