Cigarette Lighter Warning
I purchased a generic cigarette lighter from Advance Auto Parts and it blew a fuse. Thinking it might have been defective I swapped it for another one. The second one did not pop out and smoke started to rise from the console. The fuse did not blow but something was definately wrong. I returned that one and purchased one from the dealer.
Advance Auto Parts = $4 Dealer = $19
Lesson learned:
Not all lighters are created equal, apparently they may draw different loads.
Before anyone throws in with "you get what you pay for." Money wasn't the point. I have used generic lighters before without problems and never gave it a second thought. I guess with the new technology incorporated into vehicles those days are long gone. Just be careful when dealing with after market electrical components.

Ya you should quit anyway, you could pay for your truck payment. Pack of cigs here in On. Canada are like 9 bucks or so a pack of 20, most smoke a pack a day...oh man you could cover your insurance too cuz your old lady or man probably smokes as much or more.
