Default Vibration/rubbing feeling in gas pedal and steering wheel

I've had my 2010 Ram SLT Quad Cab (Sport) for approximately 3 weeks now and just started to noticed a vibration or rubbing feeling in the gas pedal and the steering wheel. I feel the vibration all the time while driving and its very annoying. I love the truck, but hate the vibration. This is my first Dodge, after owning Fords for many years, and maybe my last......

I'm bringing it to the dealer on Monday. Hope they can fix it.

have the same issue, but it is only occasional and dealer could not "duplicate" it.

I have the same thing, just not all the time. From my research it is normal for these trucks, both 4.7 and 5.7. Some are worse than others and most think it is a harmonics issue.

Its called mds when you feel that in the gas pedal you are saving money and fule cause it cuts the engine to 4clyinders hence the vibration

2010 CC , I have the ECO light, so I know when my MDS is on, and driving 85, its impossible to be saving money. I felt rubbing and vibration in my gas petal and steering wheel my whole 350 mile trip.

I will have to disagree that its the MDS.

Of course the dealer can't replicate the problem. They won't break the law and unless you are testing on the Autobahn I think you are SOL. What does it do at 60mph?
Whoever said MDS if you can tell that much that you get a vibration when in 4 cylinder or eco mode then you have an issue you should get taken care of. It is seamless the switch the sound just as advertised.

Whats your fuel level at? As crazy as it sounds, I noticed with my 3rd Gen that if the fuel level was around 1/4 tank or less that I felt a slight vibration in the accelerator pedal.

That aside, I have read on here that with the 4th Gens this is a harmonic balance issue and something to do with the way the engine mounts tune out the resonance when the MDS kicks in. When the engine drops to 4 cyl it increases the amount of frequencies that translate to the cab. The mounts on the 4th Gen were the best compromise for the MDS, but cannot be made perfect. Try a thread search. I know theres an quite extensive thread on this topic in the 4th Gen section somewhere with some very good explanations.
