Lowering the back end.
Anyone else notice the rear of the new ram is excessively higher than the front??
I realize this is helpful when hauling or towing something, but for those of us who never put anything in the bed it sits awefully high.
I know there are kits out to level the front end by lifting it a couple inches, are there any kits available to properly "level" it by lowering the back??
I was sick of looking at my '10 sport the way it was so i dissasembled the rear suspension and cut the rear coils a little shorter. The total rear drop was 2.25" and looks about right, I was just wondering if there is a kit available with shorter coils for our trucks.
(I emailed groundforce and they said a kit for the rear is in the works but not available as of yet)

I asked groundforce about just separating the rear coils out of their current lowering kit and they said that it would drop the rear too much, now that i've seen mine lowered just over 2" I think I agree, anything more would be too low.

There was a post about his awhile ago in the lowering section. There was a guy that contacted a company to make a 1.5"-2" lowering coil for the rear. I was all for it, as were a few other guys, but nothing has come of it since. This would be ideal for us looking to level the rear.

I also contacted a srping maunufacturer. They said they could fabricate a coil to suit our needs, but it would be expensive for just one set. If someone was looking to order multiples and put together a kit it would be more cost effective.
I'll wait and see what ground force puts out in the next couple weeks
