I also heard that they lowered the front ends for 2010 models. Some have said it is for better MPG. Me, I think it is so that when towing a decent sized trailer it doesn't have that 'back lower than the front' look.
Friend at work has a 2009 Sport QC, I have a 2010 Sport CC. His front looks higher than mine as well. I just noticed this a couple of days ago before I saw this thread.
Same tires/rims? Maybe they screwed up in the factory and put the trx shocks/coils in his instead of the right ones, wouldn't be the first time.
Kinda hard to happen these days, almost every works station in every plant has to scan the vehicle and then the part to be sure it is correct at least for safety items for sure and springs and suspension parts would fit there.
My friend has a 2009 Crew Cab 4x4 Big Horn. The front of his truck sits higher than my 2010 Sport. What is different between the two? I like his stance better.
I have an early build (09/08) CC 4X4 and mine sits fairly level, higher than most in the front. I have seen several posts about the difference in the rake with later models, even the late 2009 models seem to have more rake than the early ones
I would tend to agree with some that they probably added more rake to help adjust for any squatting when towing any loads of consequence.
I know of 3 different heights up front. My 2010 Laramie is lower than 2 friends of mine. The second lowest is my friend's 2010 sport (no offroad package). And then there's my other friend that has an early build 2009 with the offroad package which sits the highest up front.
