Default Remote start

Just had the ignition switch changed and the unit programmed. (installed it myself). The dealer took me for $150. I guess that's not too bad..

Works great. The thing you have to remember is to put the key in the ignition and turn it on. It took me 5 min to figure out why I couldn't put the car in gear. Duh..

Nice to do A pre cool job with the AC while looking out of the work window...

I've always loved my remote start and put it on all my vehicles. I can leave the dogs in the truck and start it to keep them cool or just cool the truck down before getting in. The real luxury is the winter when you can warm the truck and defrost the windows.

This is the first vehicle I've had with it and it will certainly not be the last! I love it.

Mine came already installed when I bought it. I've had it on other vehicles too. It is a very nice feature.

Bet you didnt know this. When the fuel is low and you hit the remote start it runs for a few seconds then shuts off. I thought something was wrong.Smart feature. The evic shows a low fuel warning.

That's cool. I usually fill up a 1/4 tank so I haven't noticed that feature.

Doc Fluty - My friends always say "show off!" when I start up my truck, but it is just nice to get in a cool truck rather than a very hot truck, especially when it is over 100 degrees outside.
