When you are talking about the grill, are you all talking about the whole outer frame (with the cross inside) and mesh inside?

 

Anyone want to trade an Inferno Red Grill for my '09 chrome?

 

1970duster440 i live in rapid city sd. USAF1 i currently have a completely chrome grill. i have the chrome outer shell with the chrome honeycomb inserts. in all actuality i would love to keep the chrome honeycomb inserts and just get the color matched frame or what some call the cross.

 

if you lived within driving distance we could probably work something out. i just can't be without my truck for even a day.

 

A bunch of us bought the TRX4 grille for about $220-230 shipped from a dealer in Ohio. That is a painted grille with the black honeycomb inserts which are removable. For that price, there is no reason to mess with trying to paint a chrome shell. You can sell that also to offset the cost.

 

topgun do you happen to know the part number for the deep water blue pearl grill? It would help out a ton. thanks in advance

 

It should be 1KX581BSAB. That is for a TRX4 so the insert is the black honeycomb. You should be able to also buy the 2010 Sport grille with the billet chrome insert but the price will be higher.

 

I have a white TRX4 and like the white truck, just don't like the white grille frame (shows all the bugs I hit here in the central Calif valley). As I don't want chrome either, think I'll just paint it the same color as the bottom section of the truck, kind of a dark gray. Can I get a can of the matching paint at a Dodge dealer? Is it hard to take the frame off?

 

Grille is pretty easy to remove. Just search on 'remove grille' and you'll find tons of advice.
