Default color matched grill

Im just trying to find out what would be the best way to getting a color matched grill? Obviously finding someone that would be willing to trade would be the best but i havent found many people with atlantic blue pearl painted grills. Anyone want to trade chrome grill for a atlantic blue color matched let me know. aside from trading should i just take the chrome one in and get it painted or buy a bare grill and get it painted? open to suggestions.

For a 2010 RAM 1500 Sport, wouldn't the blue paint color be 'Deep Water Blue Pearl'?

If you are going the paint it route I would try to find one your colour first and if you can't take an already painted one before you paint the chrome it will last longer. I haven't seen too much luck in painted chrome..unless you take it all off or there is a prep for it...but I would try to find any colour painted sport grille. Most will be in Canada that is the way they shipped for 09.

You can buy a pre painted color matched grille for under 300.00. Thats what I did. Much easier than the other options.

Yes you can have it sanded down at a body shop and painted. Or get some duplacolor and do it yourself. Paint shops can match your color, and put it in a spray can. I get them all the time at NAPA. No clear needed, it's in the can already. Just make sure you prime it first. light gray or white to cover quick
