Anyone know if it's possible to remove just the **** or is it permanently attached? If so how? Thanks..

 

You have to take a butter knife or screw driver and push down on the chrome ring at the bottom and then it will come off. First time I tried to remove the chrome ring I thought it was going to break but it finally came loose.

Took 5 mins and done. 5 more and new handle is installed!

Where did you get that Hurst shifter ball and what application did you buy it for?

 

Nevermind i know what you did! you bought the hurst shifter for the challenger and used the whole lever assembly.
