Oops, you put them on the wrong sides. The open end of the hook should face towards the outside of the truck

Ahh... I see what you are saying... I found a pic HERE...

Does it really matter? I think it looks cool the way it is...

I can always switch em if it matters that much...

It matters somewhat. If someone is pulling you they are likely to be pulling from the center, which makes it more likely that the strap will slide off the hook. And if you want to pull the truck one direction or the other you generally pull from the far hook so that the strap doesn't wind up on the bumper.

Ya know, I'm looking at it and it seriously does NOT look like it will fit that way... I may be able to get it on but then if I can't get the big *** tow strap around it then what is the point?

They fit fine when mounted in the correct orientation, but its up to you what you want to do. If you leave them the way they are, then just make sure to be very aware of your pull direction. A loaded strap flying off is really dangerous for the people in whichever vehicle it stayed attached to.

My front bumper is all jacked up that's why I don't think it will fit... I will try it anyways though since you know more than I do.

Thanks again for the help man! I really do appreciate the input!

10,200 is not your capacity with a 4.7.
