Adding 2 front tow hooks to my 2010 4.7 1500?
Feasable? I found THIS: http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...kit-67497.html
But I'm wondering what the implementations are for actually putting on my truck to the main frame... Advise? If these $8 ones don't work, is there a Mopar one that I could use?
Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S, I would LOVE to have tow hooks because it would make pulling people out in the winter WAY easier!!

Okay, here are some pics of my thoughts:
1) Mount the tow hook to the main frame by drilling two holes and having it hang down. The rope will go through the air dam (I will cut that out too) (circled in red):
2) Another image without the drawing (you can see where I messed my bumper up from hitting a hill to fast (Live and learn):
3) There are posts sticking down on each side of the truck with one pre-threaded hole in the middle of it (WHAT IS THIS FOR?!?! Plow maybe?!?!). Anyways - I can drill two holes and hang the hook down and have the rope come out the air dam once again:
Thoughts? P.S, I will do this TWICE (on each side of the truck). What is pictured for one side will apply to the other side as well.

Just spend the $120 and get the factory tow hooks. Takes about 30 minutes to install them and they are anchored correctly. There is plenty of room for a standard 2 or 3" tow strap on the factory hooks. The pedastel that your drew your hook on is one of the mounting points for the factory tow hooks.
I got it all ordered. I'm getting the OEM tow hooks for $125 out the door cash... I'll post pictures tomorrow after I install them!
Thanks

You will also either want to order the filler panel that has the cutouts ($12?) or you will need to cut your existing piece.
