2009 Laramie Issues
I have a 2009 laramie with about 110,000 miles on it. I have experienced several issues with exhaust and rearend. It is currently in the shop for the 15 time now for the a/c.
Has anyone else had any reacurring issues with their trucks?

first off, what issues are you having with the exhaust and rearend. And if you have had it in 15 times now then why havent you made them buy it back under the lemon law since that means it has been to the dealer nearly once a month for a problem.
I bought this truck for my job. I drive roughly 200 miles a day. I started having these issues around 60,000 miles. The exhaust from my understanding is an on going issue. They actually did a rapid response on it after the second time i when in the shop.
The truck has a extened lifetime warranty and has been nothing but trouble. I have never pulled anything more than a 22ft bay boat.
I just don't get it.
There are not after market parts on this truck at all.
Im currently talking with an attorney because it seems like the dealership doesnt want to doing anything.
I bought it from a dealership that is no longer a dodge dealer.

Wow! Thats alot of mileage in a year. I will have had my '09 SLT for a year next month and it hasn't been in for anything more than the RRTs and Oil Changes since I drove it off the lot. I also have 3 friends with '09s and they have had no issues either.
You still haven't mentioned what the problems are.
Exhaust and rear end and now the a\c. What are the problems?
Chrysler has several RRT's for things you mention.
With 1, now 2 posts and very vague indications of problems, you come across as if you are trolling.

Trolling!
Im looking for anyone who may have any issues with the samethings I am having.
I have had this truck in the tire shop many times for shimming in the rearend thinking the tires maybe out of balance. I've had four sets of tires and finally bought a set of $1200 michellen tires. Still have the same shimmy. I asked service manager to send driveshaft to have checked for balance at my cost while they were rebuilding the rearend. (did not happen)
The rearend has had the ring gear, pinion, pinion bearing, and seal changed twice in the last 2 months. Currently the rearend is whinning at +65 mph and they said they couldn't do anything about it.
The exhaust manifolds have been fixed four times. The exhaust while pulling a 14ft trailer about 70 miles down the interstate at 70mph came apart at the clamp before the muffler. Truck sounded like i put flowmaster on it.
The actuator under the dash started making a loud clicking noise at start up. When the noise stops it maybe coming out in your face on your feet or defrost.
This truck has oil changed every 4000 miles. Had the plugs and changed and transmission serviced every 50000 miles.
This is all the issues now i guess im not trolling now.

I have a 2010 with one of the same problems, the clicking noise in the dash. Its only happened twice but thats twice two much for what we pay for these trucks. The sound to me seems like its coming from behind the navigation or in that area anyways. I took it to the dealer and tried to explain it and they looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my forehead, and of course it wouldnt do it while I was there. One other thing that is driving me nuts is when I put it in gear from park and start to move the breaks drag and squeek for a couple of feet, I have already shut off the hill start assist and it still does it. I only have about 4000 miles on it and this better not be the beginning of a pattern!
The noise under the dash is the actuator for the a/c. It determines where the air flow is directed. Mine will sometimes blow in your face or on your feet or out the defrost. I was told by the dealership they have never heard of this problem. I seem to have alot of first with this truck. Its a good thing I bought the extended lifetime warranty. The entire truck is covered. I just have to pay a $100 deductable. I've also had some trouble with my windsheild wipers. They would just keep running after turning off. Eventually they would stop but you never knew where. They replaced the multifunction switch and then had to replace the wiper motor to get them to work right. I found there was actually a recall on some dodge trucks for this but they kept telling me my truck was not one of them. Funny how it solved the problem. There are only a few good things I have to say. It has a powerful Hemi, a good sound system, and nice air conditioned seat for these hot summer days in south louisiana.
As of today, my ram 1500 2009 has started the clicking right behind the center console, maybe lower right side. When I start the car, then it goes away, sometimes comes back. Will click with ac off, car off, and/or when I switch blowing position. Last month I took my truck in for the description above. Random blowing, or actually, it sounded like it was changing, it would blow warm air, or even sometimes stop. They finally declared there was an error from the ac and replaced something (would have to look it up on the receipt.) Anyone think this is the ac actuator as well?
