I used just any small screws I had around! Even the thread was different but I force the screws in, they made their own thread on way in and are secure tight.. No problems at all

Honestly, I'm not sure what size screw they were. I took one of the factory ones that held the trim piece in with me to my local Ace hardware, and they had a whole section for the black philips head automotive screws. I bought a couple different lengths that were the correct diameter.

Edit: I ended up using the shortest ones I could that still held everything together.

Will that be the correct part# for a 2012 as well?
