Just a heads up, if you change the written repair from what the insurance company has written you’re on your own with the warranty, the Ins co. will not stand behind the repairs. A good body shop will stand behind the repairs but if you have any issues with the repairs afterwards and the body shop gives you grief, the Ins Company will say your on your own unless the repair was done as they wrote it.
Additional repair supplements are an issue also, due to the fact that if the shop does not start off the original Ins estimate, the insurance co. is not on the hook for any additional items found.
