Default So long and farwell

Due to some financial issues I needed to sell our travel trailer, and without the travel trailer I could not justify having the big truck anymore - especially since 90% of my driving is around town.

Got rid of the truck a couple weeks ago and replaced it with a little Ford Focus. I'm getting 26-27 mpg around town and 38-39 on the couple trips on the highway. It is zippy enough around town, and does ok on the highway. Nothing like the Hemi! With the Ford Sync system and sunroof, it is pretty fun to drive.

Some day I'll return back to a truck - I'll miss my Ram.

gotta do what you gotta do. But that sync system is the best in the industry as far as i'm concerned. I love it in my dads 2011 superduty.

I do allot of driving every week for a side job I have. Side job pulls in about $1600 a month. I am going to pick up the 2012 focus when it comes out begining of next year. Focus is a real nice car and the sync system is the best in the industry!

I will drive it for 6 years and then turn it over to my daughter who will be 16 in six years.

Bought my 09 with a lifetime warranty and lifetime extended so I will never get rid of the truck. Always nice to have a truck around!

Like said above, you have to do what you have to do.

My 09 is staying for a while, mainly due to the lifetime drivetrain, nice little piece of mind for major issues. I have not kept a daily for more than 2 years for a long time. I am now past 1 year and still very happy. A new home is also going to force me into staying away from the lots. I would bet 2014 for a new truck, just hope there is still a Ram then. If not I would probably move to Chevy simply due to their power is better, at least right now.

Hope there is still a RAM? What does that mean? It's been around for 30 years, where is it going?

How does chevy have more power? As in horsepower? Its only like 10 or 20 horses and Id rather have a 5.7 Hemi instead of a 6.1 whatever you call it lol...

But I bet Dodge and their trucks will be around in 2014. Thats only 3 and a half years away and anymore all I see are new Dodges on the road soo............... Yea

Yup, gotta do what you gotta do, get your feet back under you! I once drove a Focus SVT (2005?) No bottom end at all, but that car there will serve your purpose just fine. Ok, so I was spoiled cause my Shelby Z had a turbo 2. And had decent torque for a 2.2. I ended up staying in my no bottom end 02 Neon, than bought a 2003 SRT-4. Chevy power? More only cause it's bigger. If Dodge made a 6.2 you bet it would beat a Chevy 6.2. I got more torque and power PER INCH at lower rpms than the 6.2, and that new Ford 6.2 engine too! That is just as important to me.
