Do you have to remove the tailgate plastic spoiler, or does the undercover fit over it?

That's one of the nice things about this cover. Unlike the soft tonneaus that leave a flat spot on the spoiler for water to collect, this one covers it all so no puddle.

I have an undercover on my 09 Sport and I had one on my 08 Big Horn QC (R.I.P). Its a great cover. Never have to worry about scratching it.

The only beef I have with the undercover is that I can't drill through it to mount a bike/ski rack.

Still trying to come up with a way to mount a rack to the cover, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

has anybody purchased the SE smooth and paint matched it? i have the mineral gray sport and would love to keep things all the same color...although the SE black cover doesnt look too bad. Was wondering how much it costs to have an authorized dealer do the paint job?

I had one for six years on my old F-150 and liked it so well that I bought another one for the Ram I have now. Kind of pain to take off in my opinion but I don't have to take mine off very often. Covers well and is water tight, good security. Think I paid about $650. As my truck is white, I have not painted it (its black). By the way, the other was still in great shape after 6 years baking in the sun here in central Calif valley summers. My only bitch is that the little rubber flap in front of the bed does not extend out far enough to turn down behind the cab. Needs to be an inch longer.
