Default Vibration 35-45 mph

My 6100 miles reg cab hemi was riding like crap to work this morning. It is on an easy ride between 35-45. The vibration isnt real bad but the noise was loud. It almost sounded like a hammer drill from the rear end. Im going to take it to the dealer , but what do i do if they say they dont know what it is ? I dont want to mess around and take it to them 15 times to try and figure it out. And its not like they will take it back. Very disappointed !

When the MDS is on you can feel a vibration sometimes and if you have the dual exhaust, apparently the sound is more noticible.

Try this - the next time you feel the vibration, if the MDS light is on then push down on the pedal and kick it out of MDS. See if the vibration noise goes away. If it does then you know what it is.

What year is your truck and what type of exhaust? The 2009's had an RRT for harsh MDS enguagement there was a flash to fix the problem.

I had not such flash and have a Oct 08 build truck. Checked nothing was done before I bought it all during my first oil change so they could explain to me what was done. It must not have been all because our Fuel Saver is seamless. I think people who opted to buy themselves a louder muffler are the ones having problems. Maybe you have an exhaust leak. In fact the Laramie's had a recall to change too a quieter muffler.

I had mine flashed 1/09 build and it really made the MDS work a lot better. It's on more often and enguages/disenguages more smoothly than it did before the flash. However since he has a 2010 it would not apply.

Don't remember, and it was not something that they were doing as an automatic RRT. The title of it was something like MDS drivability issues

RRT 9-042 is the number on my paperwork for the MSD upgrade, had it done in May 2010
