Default Muffler Swap. Weld or Clamp?

Just a quick question to all you guys who've done a straight muffler swap. I am getting an 18" Magnaflow put on next week and the shop asked if I wanted it welded or clamped. No price difference, he said some people just prefer one way or another for whatever reason. My immediate reaction was to get it welded in, but then I thought maybe some opinions would be a good idea.

Other than the obvious.....clamps make it easier to change if desired (hope thats not the case) and welding makes it more solid (no chance of clamps loosening off)...what are the other pro's and cons of each. What have you guys done?

Thanks in advance!

You basically hit the nail on the head in a nutshell, so to speak.

I always weld my sh*t on myself, old school I guess. I know a lot of guys with all bolt on though who've never had a problem. I would periodically get my a$$ under and check it though if I were to bolt on...
