Sorry, but that is the dumbest reason to switch to a different company. If if it had happened to a GM dealer he probably would have said the same thing.
If I went out to by a new vehicle based on the honesty of salesmen and some outlandish statements, I would still be walking.

This was NOT based on the salesman being an a$$, he was on the edge between the two trucks & it raised "quality control issues"... Not saying that GM's don't ship with broken parts either, and YES I GAVE HIM SH*T FOR BUYING A CHEBY!!!

everything is good! i went to another dodge dealer about 10 miles down the road and they are changing it out tomorrow. just had to order it from dallas. said it should be there in the morning. im glad they looked at it, because another piece came out. it is covered under warrenty. they were quick to help me out too. i was in and out in about 15 mins, and some of that time was to go out and look at my truck.
at first, he couldnt figure out what it was, where it connected, i said, hold on, let me check this truck, (another 1500) and i crawled under, and he said. the 2500s are going to be different than the 1500s. i said, mine is a 1500. and he double looked at it, cause he had never seen a new lifted one. ol texas country guy. "Well by God, it is a fi-teen hunderrrd." so all the mechanics had to come and look at it. haha im glad i knew his linguo since im a farmer from ohio.
and yes...i live in texas...so temps reach well over 100 everyday...i had to get it replaced
