Those mirrors are excellent...we have one in our ambulance which includes the nav, back up camera, and a patient camera. Great product, not sure if its the same manufacturer. Never really pulled anything apart to see how its wired but it works great.

I think all these take a vidieo input signal. I got the 5" with the wireless camera. So far its worked well. Its not a Garmin by any stretch but does the job.
