Yes it does do what Chrysler wants it to be doing and it does please the majority...I'm only a minority, lol! But it's obvious that I like it enough to stand behind it against any other... I own it, I'm keeping it, and I would buy another one. But I would still like to see an option for the 65RFE six speed with the separate computer controller modified for the Hemi and even the six speed manual.

[quote=jayman84;2250917]there is no way that the mds is fighting with your transmission. The mds only kicks in after your motor has been running at a low throttle position for a set amount of time like when you are using cruise control going down the road, and then can disengage and go back to 8 cylinders before you can blink. mds will not cause your truck to hunt for a gear.

ok... maybe i should have worded it differently, but the fact is, that maybe how YOUR MDS is working , but that is NOT how mine is working. mine will kick in when ever it feels like it, and usually before it shifts into overdrive. i have had it to the dealer and told thats just the way it is. they said performance comes first and fuel eco is a VERY close second. and they discribed it as the two FIGHTING. no, i have not had time to bring it to another dealer yet. i belive there have been other posts with this happening to other people as well. i just run it in tow/haul in town. thanks for the reply though.
