I wanted to see if anyone on here could post a pic of the stock rear view camera on the screen. Before I buy it I would love to see what you can see out of it. Thanks for the help!

 

If you get a wide screen view camera you don't get that fishbowl look.I bought 2 cmos cameras cheap from Hong Kong..waited a month to get them, was misled found out they are only good for rear view, i wanted for both so I ordered a ccd camera actually 2 of them. The stock camera when you order it you are getting a new handle and a new lock, why pay for all that if you have it, you know how to drill a hole?

Do you want to sell the one that doesn't work for the front???

 

The one I am buying does not come with wiring so I am using the wiring already installed, All it is is an rca cable and you just splice and lengthen the power wire unless you are hooking into the rear view wiring which is not recommended. I will sell it and if this new one does come with wiring it's yours oh I do have an rca that was too short, if you have a regular cab then you will have enough wire, now I will have to find it. I ordered them separate and with exchange and crap 21.98 US cost me so you can have it for 10 bucks, and shipping, Where are you , in Canada?PM me

 

LOL oh ya and if it is not substantially better I am sending one back since I need one front view camera. I have contact coastaltech also cuz it is supposed to come on under 8mph, takes almost a stop and then it goes off almost as soon as you move, so I have to put it on manually for what I need it for unless Coastal has a solution
