Exclamation Uh Oh... found a leak

So I have done some searches on the site and guess I am just the possible unlucky one. It appears I may have a rear main seal leak. I have found oil on the bottom of the transmission where it meets the motor. I have towel dried it to find it again a couple of days later. I am trying to keep hope in the back of my mind that it "could" be assembly oil that is just leaking out but dont know. Has anyone else witnessed this and with that did it go away. I could not imagine having the dealership break into the oil pan with a motor that has less then a thousand miles. Thoughts?

I had oil on the side of my oil filter, wiped it and it would not turn by hand so I figured its tight. Oil change was don't some time ago. Haven't gone under to look again, but I was thinking while I was under there for a year and half it was pretty clean under there, even where the dam oil spray was. Man that is some messy stuff.
