Default Buying an '10 Laramie on Friday (9/17).. question about getting the right options

My first post I currently have a 08 Tundra 5.7 and tow a 20ft Vnose with a VQ (V6) powered SE-R in the trailer (6500lbs). The Toyota is nice but it rides like absolute garbage. My wife wont even ride in it around town. Granted it came with the TRD sport suspension from the previous owner, which simply intensified the poor handling.

Anyway, on Monday I dropped by the Dodge dealer (Palmer Dodge, Atlanta) and they had a couple '10s on the lot. All were marked down 10K from sticker. Drove it and fell in love. The ride is so much better than the Toyota. I found a white Laramie with the 3.92 LSD, mygig with voice control (no navi) RER radio (?), OWL tires (e-rated?) and front tow hooks.
Stickered for 40,800. Had the dealer add the mopar step bars, class IV hitch receiver and bed liner for no charge. Final selling price is 30,500 with 20K trade on the Tundra XSP.

I've read some people lose a little mileage with the 3.92s. Some say its about the same MPG. But most say its a must when towing.

OK, on the questions.
1. I'd like to unlock the video in motion. I believe our two options are Nav-TV (allgig) and Lockpick V.3. I plan on adding the Mopar backup camera in the tailgate handle and I have a wireless camera on the back of my trailer (so two camera inputs). Would the Lockpick be the better option here? And how can I integrate bluetooth (which my radio currently doesnt have, only the mic for the voice command)?

2. Will I need helper bags for towing 6500lbs? I had them on the Tundra. I use a WDH with sways so I can level the truck using the WDH. Wondering how well this new rear suspension holds up to towing.

3. I've read a couple folks having trouble with the Mufflex installs. I have a welder in the garage. Adding a magnaflow muffler should be just as effective as the mufflex, I just need to find out which magnaflow muffler they use on the mild kit and install that version.

4. I believe Bill from XDI is in Atlanta as well, is this still the preferred intake or is a K&N drop just fine?

Thanks in advance for all the help

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but: 40,800 sticker / 20,000 trade / 30,500 final sale price on a 10,000 mark down from sticker vehicle doesn't make sense.

Sorry about that, without the trade, the Laramie's final price is 30,500 (without taxes). They offered 20K for the tundra so I borrowed the residual plus taxes from my bank.

a brand new truck for 10k? Not too shabby.. Do you still owe on the Tundra?

I can't help you with the camera question, but I think I can give some input in about the air bags. I think that air bags is a great idea to keep your trailer stable hitched up to your new Ram. A WDH is great, but can only do so much to keep the load stable. Air bags and a WDH is the way to go IMO. With the new coil spring suspension not being as rigid as leafs, any extra support is a good idea.

I have a 16' V-Nose, 3.55 gears, and 4" rear drop. When I hook up, I'm on the rear bump stops. I plan to get some helper bags but the enclosed trailers have a heavy tongue weight. I've towed mine empty (just bought it Labor Day weekend) 350 miles and at 75 mph I averaged 9.5 mpg, at 65 mph I averaged 11.5. The Hemi tows it fine but likes to rev.

I have the RER (NAV) radio with the AllGIG. I installed the factory rear camera and it's well worth it the first time you back up to a trailer. The trailer salesman was amazed at how easily I backed right up to the trailer and hooked up to it. You can get an A/V harness that allows extra inputs for your additional camera.

The Rams have an unrestricted intake from the factory and I've seen no proof that a full blown intake replacement offers anything other than additional noise. I've got the K&N drop in and it works fine. I run mine because I have them on both bikes and am use to cleaning and re-oiling them.

My Tundra was lowered and was on the bumpstops as well when I towed. I added helper bags b/w the axle and frame, but it made the ride worse. When the truck was unladen, the helper bags removed all remaining clearance b/w the axle and frame (even deflated) and it felt like I had a solid rear axle with zero dampening. Unfortunately I learned the hard way (on a Tundra), you cant tow with a lowered truck.

Anyway, I finally picked up the new Dodge. It was a huuuuge ordeal. I'll post more info and pictures today

3:92 gears really make no difference. I have owned hemi rams with both and highway mileage isn't much different because CC 4x4's are so heavy. The best I got with my 06 3:55 QC 4x4 was 22.3 and with my 10' 3:92CC 4x4 I average 21.3-21.7 on the eway. In the city I average 14.5 in my 10' but only got about 12.5 in my 06'. Go with the 3:92's but expect to tow in tow/haul mode as someone else said the Hemi likes its RPM's when towing....

Mine unfortunately came with the 3.21 gears. I'll need to either swap these out myself or find someone who can. Frustrating
