4x4. I also notice when turning either direction the pulsating is worse. Its abnormally loud when I get up to about 40 mph. Changing the tire pressure did nothing. It is constant. I dont think my tires could go from 1 week being just fine to the next riding like this. There also was a bad shimmy when I would hit bumps at higher rates of speed, the shop put a pin in that has completely eliminated that. Could it be U- joints? I have heard that from some guys with 2500's. Right now I am just lookin for what to tell the dealer next, because I am sure they are looking for every reason not to find something wrong.

So 4wheel parts got the steering wheel vibration issue solved. Back end is now hopping around a little worse then before now at highway speeds. As far as the rotational noise they believe that I have a wheel bearing issue in the rear end. Its loudest at 15mph -30 mph but is still there till you cross 40mph. After that It seems to smooth out. I said to them I did not have the issue before you put the tires and wheels on could they have some how caused this? The claimed that this would have not cause any issue.

So I now have to take it tot he dealership and have that checked out.

I really hope its not a wheel bearing issue, but then again if it is at least the sound will go away.

Have them hook up there audio sensors to the truck, (if they have them). helped pinpoint the hum I was getting at hwy speeds. turned out to be the front tires on my Dakota, New tires and the sound was gone. those sound sensors are a good tool if the dealer has them.

Dealer says no issues with the truck at all and the rotational noise is all tire. At 13-15 miles per hour its are the believe that any tire could make something feel like its grinding through the brake and gas pedals.

But to the dealers defense I did not have this issue till those tires were put on 400 miles ago. May just be something I have to live with.

Ive got 4 wheel parts saying its not the tires and Ive got the dealer saying it is. Good news is its not a wheel bearing.

It's definitely wheel bearings... This drove me completely insane on my 2010 1500 hemi. Couldn't figure out if it was the stall, transfer case, cv??? Finally I just took a leap of faith and changed the hub on the driver side and what do you know- vibration gone!

i have a 2008 Dodge Ram big horn, I bought it in 2012 and ever since I bought it I had a soft pulsating vibration in the gas pedal and steering. 2019 and I have replaced the axle, struts and a few other things. I have the original 20’s and just added 1.5” spacers this year due to fender flares. Just recently I was driving and my wheels started bouncing like hell I thought it was the death wobble. Then finally my driver side front brake started to squeak and when I got home I smelt something hot. Put the truck in neutral and tried to roll it. Brake was locked up solid. To sum this up took it into good year and the rebuilt my brake caliper because it was hanging up. I believe is has been since I bought the truck because I just put it’s second pair of rotors on it since I have it and I hardly drive it due to a company truck. After the brake rebuild and a brake line flush. There has not been the vibration and I can sail at 70 mph and not have to use cruise control haha. Good luck
