Thought of another question. Does the factory backup warning system work with the pioneer head unit? Again great job. Really like the carbon fiber sub box.

This is very similar to the set up that I'm working towards. So far I've only replaced the front door speakers and the left and right dash speakers with the infinitys. Did you replace the center speaker? Also did you dynamat the backside of the door panel or the interior face?

I did not replace the center dash speaker, I put dynomat on the backside of the door panel, and then I figured out how to remove the inner panel to get to the inside portion of the door. Basically you have to remve the wiring harness, disengage the window and tape the window in the all the way up position, and disengage the mechanism for the outside door handle, and remove the 13 screws. I could only do this on the 2 front doors, I could not not seem to disengage the rear windows. I should have taken more picturesn of this, but as I got busy I forgot.

Yes, oddly enough it does, I guess it is a stand alone system not associated with the radio.

mine are the 3 way, Infinity Kappa 693.9I, I'm not sure but I think they may stick out a tad more so I had a tuff time getting the door covers back on, they hit the spakers. I'm thinking of cutting and using the speaker grills that came with the Infinity, But I'm not sure, cause ounce i do theres no turning back.

It was hard work, but I enjoyed doing it, It was a 3 day project I took my time did it right and had fun while I did it and drank some bier. ( I know how Beer is spelled, but the kind I drink is spelled Bier after spending 8 years in Germany ).

Arrow Pictures

I had to remove the pictures because of the large file size, so I provided a link instead to them on photobucket. http://s1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb401/roberttheall/

You guys must have some serious hearing problems.

I'm sure I would have broken many things taking the interior apart that far. That photos are great .. I can see stuff I'd never otherwise see .. the air ducts that go under the seats and the storage compartment behind the driver's seat. Wish I had one of those. Nice work.
