Very carefully! It has clips all around it that you have to pry up. If you look close down on the bottom you can see I cracked it.

Just take your time. I used some flat black trim paint for AZ, scuffed it up with a fine sandpaper. Good luck!

what exactly is the phone holder for the iphone/ipod touch called? Active ebay auction mabye? I'll be "borrowing" your idea for sure! looks AWESOME!

Found it however since i have 4wd I can't make my install as sweet as yours!
