Nice. Now I just need to see a video explaining in detail (like this one) how LSD's work.

The LSD is a more safety improved posi unit. The posi unit works in the same way with the exception of added spring loaded clutches that apply pressure on the spider gears allowing both axles to have equal traction. The spider gears are the four small gears inside the carrier. The springs apply a moderate amount pressure allowing them to slip and turn at different speeds...stronger springs, stronger posi. There are other means besides springs in the carrier to apply equal pressure to each axle. All rear differentials work in the same way but use different techniques for LSD and Lockers. You can even weld your spider gears to work as a cheap do it yourself locker setup. I'm not sure how the LSD is setup as compared the the posi but it does not use springs. That film was funny...must have been made for around those days too, he he! I would like to see an LSD film myself!
