I did a LOT of research leading up to ordering my 2010 Sport and I never found anything about Laramies having different/more insulation. There was talk about early model 2009s (all models) have better insulation that was later reduced for later 2009 and 2010s.

My 09 crew cab came with 3.21 gears. I have a 2/4 drop on my truck, 22inch rims., superchip, electric cut out exhaust and a K&N drop in.

As far as i can tell....... My truck is pretty damn quick.

how much for some 392 or 4.10 gears installed? i love speed!!!!!

THe 4.10 gears will kill your gas mileage if that is a concern for you,

The problem with a successful forum is that all the accurate information floats in a sea of completly useless drivel.

It floats in a sea of drivel (useless drivel is redundant) and one post that is not constructive,

my laramie has 3.92s

and sounds nice thanks to a mopar intake and borla exhaust

for a crew cab with heavy *** 24s... my truck is plenty quick

ive thought about going down to 3.21s to help gas mileage out considering that in july 2010 i drove from los angeles to indiana, in sep drove from indiana to los angeles and returned to indy, took a trip last weekend down to the florida keys (they suck) and now am driving round trip back to los angeles for Halloween

im not doing to bad now on gas when i do trips like that... but i think with factory tires and a 3:21s i could be saving a few hundred bucks in gas
