I had xm for years before the merger and even though some of my favorite stations got lost in the shuffle it is still better than anything on the FM dial here. I paid for lifetime with xm in 2001 so when the free subscription ends hopefully that will transfer over.

Big deal, you listen to him once and you've heard his entire act.

Lifetimes are not suppose to be transferable but I came up with a very creative story about the radio in my truck, the screen died but the radio still was working and that the dealer had to replace the radio and I needed to transfer my lifetime, well after four different people that could barely speak English I demanded to speak with someone in the United States, well they kept telling me at first that they could not transfer me to a US customer service, so I demanded a supervisor and told him I wanted a customer support in the United States well I finally got one and they agreed to transfer the subscription but I had to pay a transfer fee. It was worth it, otherwise I would lose the lifetime.I looked it up on their site and it does say that the lifetime is not transferable so I got lucky, and now still have my lifetime in my new RAM !!

More calls you bet, be warned. They won't take no for an answer. After repeated attempts to get them to quit calling my cell failed I had to file a complaint with the FTC. That finally did it. I would NEVER do buisness with them again, not even for free..

Thats what I did and I'm addicted to my satellite radio. But two weeks before mine expired they called me every other day and it was a pain in the ***. Then the day it was supposed to expire I called them and they gave me a good deal on the lifetime thing.

JYD, if you dont mind me asking what kind of deal did they give on the lifetime. When mine expired a couple of months back they kept calling and finally told me the lifetime was 399 plus royalties and all that jazz. Ended up coming to almost 500 after all the added fees. I tossed it around for 1 week and called them. I said I was interested in the lifetime. They now told me it was 499 plus fees and would be over 600 total. I raised a big stink asked for supervisors and even spoke with someone at sirius corp and they advised me the price did change and they would not be able to give me the cheaper price, or any kind of discount on the lifetime. Needless to say I no longer have sirius. Wouldnt mind having it back if they would just sell it for the price they quoted me.

Man they sure have jacked up the lifetime price when I got mine it was $300.00 and that was it, no added on fee's or any of that garbage.A few month's ago I did get a letter about some price increases but I called them and asked about it and was told that that letter was sent to all subscribers but it did not apply to me because I had the lifetime on my radio!!! That was some increase for sure!!!
