1.) Does anyone have this system on there truck, and how does it sound with the MDS system? I've heard that it is the only model that they make for the 2009 and that its one of their more mellow sounding exhausts but that you can really hear it when you get on it. But, you will also hear a difference when the MDS system kicks in as well.

2.) Have you notice any increase in performance?

3.) I'm also looking at putting in a cold air intake in it as well. Any suggestions? Im looking at K&N or the Mopar CAI.

4.) Does anyone have any video clips of there dodge with this system?

Thanks for your input!
I have an 09 sport, I put the cat back DB by Corsa system on, I believe it is the same as the Borla minus the premium clamps (keep costs down) I have installed a Volant CAI on it as well. You can listen to a sound clip on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHLxj...eature=related
Truck sounds great on the outside but just right on the inside, no noise pollution, no drone. Paid $600, installed in 1 hour.

I love the sound of Magnaflow. That is what I am getting for my new 2010.

Quick point....there is not much need for a 'cat-back' system. The stock pipe is 3" in diameter and very good quality. You can get a good muffler for about $100 and have it installed for about $50. Why waste all of the money on a full cat-back?

Just one man's opinion, but I have been modding cars/trucks for years now and it has always worked out for me.

Exactly dont bother in wasting all the time and money in a full cat back system. The pipe is in fact 3" coming off the cats into the muffler. Plus getting that pipe off of the y-pipe is pretty much impossible. Dodge uses this compressing c-clamp that I could not get off for the lift of me so instead of using the full cat back system on the MBRP system I just used the muffler back. I have since taken the MBRP system off as it was alittle loud for my liking

I replaced muffler back if you want to get technical, this includes replacing the tailpipes which have resonators.

I have a 4.7 with a Borla muffler that I dumped just behind the rear axel. I dont believe I have gained any performance but the sounds fantastic!!! I am planning on doing a CAI probably a K&N and then a Throttle Body Spacer.

I have this set up on my "Head Hunter" truck and it sounds great. It's paired up with ARH long tube headers. Great power with them paired together.

Default Borla 140308

Just reading the comment about the Borla 140308 for the Ram 1500.

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi and I installed the Borla Cat Back 140308 cat back exhaust. Yes this is not the loudest exhaust out there when it's idling or cruising - but when you stomp on it look out!. Also it is PURE POWER!! There are cheaper cat backs out on the market THAT JUST MAKE NOISE - NO POWER!!

I also have a K&N 77-1561KP Cold Air Intake and a SET OF 1961S-2 JBA Cat4ward Shorty Headers.

My truck is the Clint Eastwood of pick up trucks - Quiet AND mellow at first but all power AND NOISE when you light it up!!!!

Hope this helps...
