Afe cai
I wish I would have made my mind up on ordering the intake earlier in the week because having to wait until monday for them to process and ship my order is killing me...lol. And I still have to wait a couple days for shipping....
ive been tryin to decide between the afe and k+n for weeks now, i like the fact its a dry filter, and is clean lookin. Looks like a afe intake in my near future. For those of you who have the afe did it deepin or make the exhaust louder? Ive got the mufflex 24 on now and wonderin if it will make it louder...
The oiled filter is the one with the posted gains and dyno chart. Dry filters do not have as high a flow rate. Was looking at another CAI and at the K&N but this one looks to be another good option here. You guys find any online coupon codes that work for the AFE ?

Well, my intake just shipping today and I should have it tomorrow. Depending on when ups drops it off I might be able to install it before work but if not, first thing wednesday morning I'm installing it.
Well, got my intake today and of course wasted no time in getting it installed. Took me maybe around 30 minutes, fairly easy to install. Took it for a good 45 minute spin and I'm pretty happy with it. Got a nice under the hood growl, can feel a good difference in the performance, and my mpg on the dash took a good little jump of 0.8 mpg too. I know thats not much of a change but I was flooring it every time I had a chance and spin the tires a few times...lol. I'm sure once the computer gets use to it and I stop driving like a bat out of a hell, it'll show a better gain.
