I have been applying it about 3 times a year and my trim looks the same as when I drove it off the lot. Not sure how widespread its availability is, but its the best stuff I have found for this application.

You can order a free sample kit here 303 Products
303 is the most amazing stuff in the ENTIRE world. I use it on everything plastic or rubber. It's great for tires and interior detail because it does not contain silicone and prevents fading in the sun (especially to help prevent tires from browning).

It's available at www.autogeek.net or at any marine supply stores. BEST STUFF EVER

Discoloring yes like fading to a brown tint, but not white like he is reffering. That is rubber that hasn't chemicly cross linked. Or of you do see if turn white years down the road thats oxidation. Which protectants and cleaners can resolve. Rubber will continue to cure throughout its life. So if in fact it is an undercured piece of rubber it should improve all by itself given enough time. And tust me undercured seals is a common thing in todays vehicles.

I have had the problem on other vehicles and found it to be wax residue. Cleaned it good and applied Mother's Back to Black. Took care of the problem till I slopped wax on it again....
