No, you can't turn off the MDS with anything from the factory. You have to buy a tuner to do it, or keep the truck in tow mode at all times which also keeps it out of over drive.

 

I just got my truck back from the dealer for a recall and the evic light for fuel saver is now on. It never was before. In fact, I never knew it even had the capability. I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow and find out what they did to make it come on.
