Default Changing fog lights from white to amber ... ?

I'm interested in changing out the bulbs of my 2010 Laramie from white to amber.

Anyone know how to do this ... ? Have done this .... ?

Any advice is welcomed. Thanx in advance.

Thanx for the reply.

I'm not sure I was clear. I want to change out the bulb ... not the entire light assembly.

Is it just a matter of 'unplugging' the bulb/socket from under the bumper and swapping the bulb, or is it more complicated than this?

Its as simply as unplugging bulb and switching out the bulbs

That's what I tho't.

I crawled under the front of the Laramie and it looks like the fog light harness/plug is just a twist and turn deal to disconnect it from the fog light housing.

Then see what the bulb number is and see if there is an amber replacement for it.

Don't forget to give the junction of the bulbsocket/light assembly a VERY LIGHT coat of dielectric grease, to keep it watertight --- a little dab on the bulb connections, won't hurt either.

Absolutley...!!!!!! I totally agree.....!!!!
I found that this keep the lense`s from fogging, works VERY VERY well...!
Dielectric grease wont let moisture pass by the connector base or thru the connector.
I think this should be done at least twice a year, and if off-roading, every month.
To bad chrysler/dodge didnt think of this before leaving the factories huhhh

So what is the amber bulb number? Or where did you find one.

IMO amber lights are ugly. But just a personal preference. When its time for my stock bulbs (which suck) to be replaced, I want to match them all with bright white/ very slightly bluish bulbs.

Any suggestions?
