I bought Nitto terra grapplers in 285/70/17 and packed away the 20's for the winter. I got some older Ram 17's and a set of TPMS off a couple different guys on the local Craigslist for a great price. I was wanting to see if the TPMS would work because they where out of a 2008 Ram 2500 and I have a 09 1500. Part numbers where different and the "net" was no help. They do work, so far. So I kept checking the dash to see if the TPMS or a message would flash as I was driving.

On the way back I noticed "Octane" was showing up on the top of the messaging center. I thought........ what does this mean? Something wrong with the gas I bought? I did fill up at a different place last time and it was a local convienience store not the BP I usually go to. I'll have to check the book when I get home to see what this is about.

So as I'm pulling into the driveway............. it hits me........ "Octane" was the name of the radio station I had on the Sirius radio.......... DUH.
I went in the house and went to bed.......... done for the day.

Oh man I did that the very first time I drove the truck my kid was in it and playing with the radio and all of a sudden I noticed Octane popped up, did notice anything there before, didn't look maybe but anyway I pulled over and shut it off, it stayed on, oh **** what did I do I called my wife and asked her where she got gas and what kind did she put. When I told her why she said try changing that radio station...I said ya thanks for the help, well when we got going again it was still there then all of a sudden it says 70's or something like that, I thought **** this thing knows the speed limits here. LOL My kid says dad, look he changed station and you know the rest.....so don't feel bad man.
