My 72 chevy can do it and both wheels spin and it is almost stock, just a very mild cam only because the stock one was not available. They guy at the store told me I might get 10 hp if anything and a bit of a stumble once in a while not a lumpy ride. LOL No wheel hop, I have more or less a similar suspension coils with trailing arms and I put a traction bar in the back which really made me loose traction but makes for some fun burnouts but nervous wet weather stops good thing I don't drive it it the rain! I could not get that much speed in that time since I would not have the traction and well the HP and Torq are just not there like in our Rams, Maybe I can get my wife to drag race me one day.

Let us not forget that noise doesn't always mean speed (well in this case it does!) , but also he probably is using the sequential shift option to get those hard pulls. I know my Ram with the intake, chip, and magnaflow exhaust would do the same thing, although I wont because my Toyo Tires and drivetrain mean a lot to me!

Cooler weather, dirty streets (saltly). My truck did it easily with the stock tires (Yes I have the 3.92s as well). But I was on dry, clean and moderate temp streets.

Frozen, salty asphalt = tire spin.

Cool vid, thanks ! It's great watching someone else beat their truck !! My truck runs just like this, maybe better, and if this one does not have a tuner and intake, then my truck would certainly beat this. Dry salted roads with ESP off = tire roasting ! I have a quad cab with the 3.92 ratio, and truck runs its a$$ off for a 4x4. I can only imagine how nice you guys with the single cab and short beds are with the same setup..

It's obvious he has the open diff and that makes it much easier to spin the unloaded wheel. I can't get much wheel spin at all with the 3.92 and locking diff.

X2, I really have to work at making any wheel spin. I guess its not a bad thing from a traction perspective, but I would like a double line roast once and a while.

Try it in tow haul...it cuts off esp and traction control. And beware of your rev limit...it will cut out as if your engine died if you reach it while doing your burnout.
