Try it in tow haul...it cuts off esp and traction control. And beware of your rev limit...it will cut out as if your engine died if you reach it while doing your burnout.
Thanks, I have and it doesn't make any difference for me. I thought the only time ESP and TC were off is when you are in 4WD which pretty much eliminates any scratch. My rev limiter is set to 6400RPM. Odd I get great 2nd Gear scratch but next to nothing out of the hole. Is anyone else with the 3.92LSD getting much 2 wheel peel?
if doing that is "abusing a truck" therefore the truck cant handle a few hard starts and a few power turns, then i think they need to make vehicles of better quality for $40k.

You call that video a few hard starts, peeling your tires out at a light is one thing but whipping it around like they were does add more strain to powertrain, not that it can't handle it, but you know if you do it once your more than likely doing it alot which adds to the cummulative effects on this system. I'm sure the truck can handle, but not smart in my opinion, especially if you want a reliable vehicle, thank god I have the lifetime powertrain.
