I haven't done this to my Ram but on one of my previous trucks, I crawled under the truck and located the wiring to the in tank fuel pump. I got a switch with long wires and dressed it up nicely and ran it into the cab. I wired the switch in series and installed it in the cab. With the switch in the open position, the truck would not start.

I don't want to say go ahead and do it, the truck may throw some codes. My old truck didn't
