I want my hemi 4x4 to have dumped exhaust!!
OK... i want some sound out of my bad *** truck and everything i hear is negative when it comes to warranty or sensors or back pressure blah blah blah... i want aftermarket muffler?? i have a single pipe hemi and i replaced my muffler with a flowmaster single in single out and left my stock resignators with tail pipe?? and it sounds like crap...what if i just put a single in double out muffler on it and dumped the exhaust (turn down) getting rid of my rear resignator and tail pipe? any ideas for a fellow hemi member... i need advice.. and some muffler suggestions would be greatly appreciated i was thinking a Flowmaster Super 40 single in double out.. remember i have a single pipe hemi.............................THANKS..

Im sure the c02 would make it seem faster.. lol Im really looking for some advice tho.. and btw rigging it is not advice thats called rigging it.. lol ... looking for something to last and not set off any sensors..
dumping it under the truck is only going to give you a ton of drone. I'd just get the resonator removed and still dump it out the back. Maybe go with a magnaflow for better sound? I'm not a fan of flowmaster after the Cat Back I had on my last truck. Not only did it sound like crap but it fell out on the highway one day, all the welds rusted out. Duals out of a single in/dual out muffler wont sound much different.
ive got an 09 hemi 4x4 cc, i removed all resignators, pipes are right off cat, into a one in, one out flowmaster, its about 6 inches long with a 4 inch dump...its rediculously loud....and i love it...no drone or anything
same here changed the stock muffler out for a mufflex and put the rest of stock exhaust back on and it wasnt loud enough. the other day went to muffler shop pulled the end of the exhaust off and had them weld on a turn down to the muffler and it has a lot better sound no drone and not to loud while driving. Big sound difference on take off now though
mine is def loud while driving. it makes heads turn big time. sounds like a nas-truck haha. plus i have my music up loud to go over the exhaust and i cant hear my 35s windin down the road which is a plus haha

threw the stock muffler in the garbage, added a 1in 2 out flowmaster and angled a couple 90s down and out right off the muffler. lovin it, and way cheaper than buyin those stupid kits. (it also helps that i can weld lol)
