Default ? about warranty and install of Mopar/superlift 4" lift

Was wondering about how dodge would warrant the truck on a lifetime drivetrain if you have a mopar/superlift installed by someone other than dodge. I know superlift warrants their lift, but would dodge negate the powertrain since they did not do the intall or would they just not warrant the lift?

Just a guess here but I would think that as long as it is installed by a qualified mechanic and you could prove it then there shouldn't be an issue.

Exactly. You will not lose your warranty because you installed a lift. Don't ever let a dealer tell you this. If they attempt it, then find a new dealer to go to. They can't remove your warranty because of a modification you did to your vehicle unless they can specifically prove that the modification that you did to your vehicle is what caused the damage. In your case, if you had a warranty claim on say the transmission or the motor, then that lift would have no effect on the warranty. Now, if you had a ujoint failure or ball joint failure then yea they probably wont cover that.

This is what I figured, probably going to get either the superlift or mopar and install it myself with the help from my dad (knows his stuff), then have it aligned by a shop.
