Default Laramie Alpind DVD

Can anyone tell me if there is a bypass to play a DVD while in gear? I just traded my 06 megacab for a 2011 2500 Laramie. In the 06 megacab I installed and aftermarket in dash DVD and installed 2 toggle switches so a DVD was able to be played when driving.

Can this be done or programmed to the factory stereo in the 2011 factory Alpine DVD?
Thanks!

You can either buy a Lockpick or Allgig. I went with a Lockpick version 3.0. I purchased from titanuimcoupe89 on ebay for under $200 plus shipping. Here is a link to the ebay seller and item that I purchased.

I remember when I was looking at buying an in dash DVD player for one of my old civics I looked for units where a Code could be imputed to override the feature that disables DVDs being played when the parking break was off.
As much as I've searched I can't find such a code to be imputed for these units. Bummer... And I'm thinking about upgrading to indash dvd once my Sirius trial runs out. Provided I can get a head unit that I can register with Sirius again.

Thanks for the help. It was easy on the aftermarket that I had in my 06, I just put a toggle switch to the reverse lights and one to the parke brake. I just traded that truck it only had 18,600 miles when I traded it. Ill try to get some pics of it up. Not sure if Im going to lift this one and put the programmers in it yet.
