Default 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Rear Axle Model?

What rear axle is in the 2009 rams?
1500, 4x4, crew cab, 5.7, 392 limited slip.

Is it C-Clip or a bolt retained bearing flange?
I have a bent shaft and before I pull a bunch of junk apart, I just want to know what I'm getting into.

Anyone got a factory service manual with a diagram?

It is called a "Chrysler 9.25". Not 100% sure if they have someone else manufacture it.

HDs get a Dana.

Did you buy your truck new? If so you have a lifetime drive train.

Its a c-clip 9 1/4. I've got a factory manual, but is nothing much to look at. Comes apart like any other c-clip axle.
Remove the wheel and caliper,
Pull the diff cover
Remove the cross pin bolt and then remove the cross pin
Push the axle in and remove the c-clip

Power train warranty will cover a bent axle shaft?
It's pretty obvious from my destroyed rim that I sideswiped a curb.

Nope, won't cover damage from an accident

Is the axle from the newer fullsized Durango's the same? There are several of them in my local junk yard that would have a tone ring for abs on them.

Now to find one with a tone ring installed.

I replaced plenty of Dana 35, Dana 44a, and Ford 8.8 c clip axles. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't biting off more than I could chew.
