I am new here and am curious I have been looking around the site trying to figure out what to do .I would like to put new 17 or 18 inch rims on my truck and 35 inch tires ..I need to figure what i need to do that . I am getting conflicting stuff on the site of this works and doesnt work ...anyone who could help would be helpful thanks in advance

 

First, do you have a TRX? If so this changes things a little. What do you want to accomplish? Do you want a 4" lift or do you want to level the truck. What size tires do you have now?

 

yes i have a 09 trx4 ...right now i have stock tires ...i am not sure what ever is the best way to do it ... i do know i am sticking with new 17 or 18 inch rims and want 35 inch tires

 

I have a 09 TRX4, I have the 4" dodge (superlift) lift kit, 17" MT Classic IIs with 37s. What exactly do you want to do with the truck?

In what way is the TRX different in reference to tire and wheel mods?

 

The TRX4 has a different strut in the front and it changes which lift kits the OP can purchase/ what mods can be done. There is also more clearance on a TRX4 front so the tire sizes can be different. Different wheels will have to be purchased because 35's should not be mounted on a 7 wide rim

Superlift/Mopar and BDS offer lift kits for the TRX4. All the others can be put on if you replace your front strut with a stock one or get the bilstein adjustables and adjust down to stock height.

ok heres what i want to do to my 09 dodge ram 1500 trx 4 4x4 ....i want to put new rims on the truck with 35 inch tires ......i would like to keep 17 inch rims but the mopar/superlift calls for 18 inch rims ...which i dont know why ..i want to use fierce attitude m/t tires ...i want to put a new exhaust on my truck but am having trouble finding one not made for a truck with bumper cut outs(my truck has single pipe by tire )..i see sprecballs has 17 inch rims did you have to do somthing with the lift ..any help would be welcome thanks
