Damn I'm torn! Tires!!?
Oh and I'm not a big fan of the Goodyear Duratracs on a full size truck. Nice tire for a Wrangler or a mid-size SUV, but IMO the sidewall strength is not there for a heavy truck. They routinely get bashed by the diesel crowd. Riding around on soft/weak sidewalls can also kill fuel economy, it's almost like driving around on aired down tires. Sorry D-man, but that's just my opinion.
You can get the duractrac in a load range E. Those shouldn't have a weak sidewall. I wouldn't think that a tire rated to carry 3600 pounds would have a soft sidewall. I will agree with not putting them on a diesel truck but up around here there is an electrical company and another company that services the wind turbines and they are both switching to the duratracs for their fleets. Most of the time you cant go wrong with meaty tires but it depends on how much time you spend off road.
I think I've decided on the Terra Grapplers. Would love the Trail Grapplers, but with all my road driving, the Terra's just seem to make more sense. I've heard good things about them, cheaper than BFG AT's and I 'hear' they're quiet on the road.
I'm planning on a 4" lift and I'll stick the LT295/60R20 E 126Q under it. Would love to do it soon too ... before we get a sh!tpile of snow!!

The DuraTrac seems nice, but again after speaking to Goodyear rep, and discussing how its about a 25,000 mile life tread, and loud on the road I was a bit saddeneded. I like the price of the Nitto Dura, and Terra Grappler, both run for $1,100 on TireBuyer.com shipped for anyone else interested in these tires. I think it will comes down between something from Nitto or the Dick Cepek just because they seem to be most practical for my use and very reasonably priced.
I know the BFG's are not on your lift but I wanted to let you know that they are wearing fast on my truck. I measured them the other day in an attempt to sell them and realized that they are already down to 10/32 after 10k. I was shocked, at this rate I will need new tires in about 15k. That is only 25k out of a $300 dollar tire. Not going to be on my next list for sure. By the way all four measured the same, some where actually at 9/32. Can't believe how fast they are wearing down. Guess I need to start thinking about tires even more.

In any event, I really am just going to take my time on this because any tire I order is going to be special order, meaning once I put it on the truck, Its mine for ever !
My next tire is one with a mileage warranty on it. I like the Goodyear Silent Armor tires. They have a 50k warranty on them and the reviews are great. You can get an LT in a 305/60/20 which is a 34.5 and 12 wide. Going to call local tire shop to check on price tomorrow.
That's a nice sounding tire, nice load range E and can't beat a warranty on a tire, plus the additional height is sweet. Let us know how you make out.

What do you guys suppose tires are these? Nittos?

Sorry Dodge guys, close your eyes on the Ford part. Thanks to Hammer, I have been becoming very partial to both Mickey and Cepeks line of A/Ts. I like the ATZs, I just wonder if they are going to be bad as the radial ATZ in snow that my brother ran on his dodge a few years ago.
