Default switched to quads, dealer cant get them to work right.

I replaced my dual headlights with quads on my 09 ram. When you do this, the high and low beams will not both stay on when you hit the high beams like they would if quad headlights came factory.Took it to the dealer yesterday and after attempting to get the TIPM to tell the controller I now have quad lights, they said they could'nt get it to work. They called chrysler and were told the truck had duals originally and quads will not work as far as high and low beam staying on at the same time. I dont have any reason to doubt the dealer, they have been decent guys. They did say that if I did go around the factory wiring to get it to work I may put my warranty at risk.Any of you guys done this and if so what did you do?I want to keep it close to stock for my lifetime maximum care service contract. Thanks for any help.
