Default Truck Bed Cover?

I'm going on a trip and I need to carry a whole bunch of hockey gear in the back of my truck. Chances are its going to snow or rain on my way up. I've got a tarp but I'm not sure the best way to secure it to my truck so that is secure from high speeds, protective from the weather, and wont damage my truck.

I've always had a Canopy on all my other trucks, so I don't have much experience in this feild

I'm very happy with my BakFlip F-1. Do a search for bed covers or tonneau covers and you will find out everything you want to know about every cover made. This has been a heavily covered subject on these forums.

I had a hard tonneau and hated it. Damn thing weighed a ton and took forever to get on and off. I eventually ended up selling it for about 1/4 of what I paid. When I get home I plan on getting a BakFlip F-1 or HD.

The Undercover SE Smooth is a hard tonneau cover but it's so light a little girl can lift it by themself.

Totally agree on the Undercover. If your budget is tight you can go for the standard Undercover. I've owned two and they've been the best additions I've made to both trucks. If you find the right deal they can be cheaper than the soft and hard folding covers. And they are strong enough to support a good deal of weight on top.

I have the Pace Edwards full metal JackRabbit retractable tonneau cover on mines and love it! I've had other tonneau covers on my trucks in the past such as the vinyl snap-ons and even full paintable fiberglass and really do like the look and flexibility of this retractrable cover.

Old school here... Plain old vinyl cover... $200. Of course it is not secure, but it does stay dry under there.
